People with no less than 2 years business acumen and experience (Turnover > 500,000 per annum) It lets you operate a new or existing business in Australia.
Score at least 65 on the points test Net assets of at least AUD 800,000.

Experienced business owners, to operate a new or existing business in Australia. People with no less than 2 years business acumen and experience (Turnover > 3,000,000 per annum)
- Assets of AUD1.5 million
- Have AUD400,000 ownership interest in the business

V 132B Business Talent Venture Capital Entrepreneur (Permanent)
Innovative activities have sourced venture capital funding
- Have a funding agreement of at least AUD1,000,000 venture capital

AUD1.5 million in an Australian State or Territory + 65 points assets of at least AUD2.25 Million

Visa 491, Skilled Regional Small Business Owner Tasmania
- Establish and operate your business (solely owned) in Tasmania for at least 6 months
- Likehood to generate income for the owner of AU$53,900 per year for at least 3 years in the next 5 years.
Franchise and share-owned businesses are not acceptable under this category.
- Service stations, massage clinics and taxi/uber related businesses are not supported under this category.
- Occupation assessed by Eng Australia, or VETASSESS, or the like
- 50 points in the table + 15 form the State = 65 points

Visa 491, Skilled Regiona Small Business Owner Queensland
- Have prior business experience or qualifications
- be on a visa that allows full-time work( 35h/w)
have purchased an existing business in regional Queensland - paid a minimum of $100,000 for the business
Note: not available for start-ups or home based businesses)
- Occupation assessed by Eng Australia, or VETASSESS, or the like
- 50 points in the table + 15 form the State = 65 points
- Competent English
– have 100% ownership of the business (partnerships or joint ventures not eligible)
– be trading in the business for 6 months prior to application
– employ one (1) employee who is an Australian resident working a minimum of 20 hours per week
– Provide evidence of sufficient settlement funds.
